FAQ
Q: What do the percentages of chocolate mean?
A: This simply lets you know how much of your product by weight is made from the cacao tree, such as the cacao beans & cocoa butter. The remaining percentage is the ingredients such as milk, sugar, or natural flavors that make white, milk, and dark varieties, or create the unique combinations that you can expect from Ode to Joy Chocolates.
Q: Is your chocolate organic?
A: We strive to use as many organic ingredients as possible, but currently the chocolate we use is not organic certified. We are continuously looking for ways to make our product better for you and better for our world, which is why we only pick chocolate that is Fair-Trade Certified™* and Non-GMO. *Certified by FairTradeUSA.org
Q: What allergens do your chocolates contain?
A: Our chocolate bars are gluten free, soy free, and peanut free, plus all our dark chocolate bars are vegan! The dark chocolate is produced on equipment that shares surfaces with other milk products, so it may not be safe for dairy allergies.
Q: Do all of your chocolates contain hemp-derived cannabinoids?
A: No! While we proudly carry medicinal grade hemp extract-infused bars, our founding flavors are cannabis free and safe for all ages.
